By varying temperatures NBR producers manufacture hot and cold polymers. Specialty NBR polymers are obtained by adjusting ratios of Acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene (BD), or adding a third monomer (e.g. divinyl benzene and methacrylic acid).
